    LOVE
An amazing platform giving a voice to Black families. Excellent production & easy listening.
  • djtdhydvjdr
    Seriously?
Fighting racism with racism, fire with fire. Unbelievable
  • Shacal228
Love the show but Martina’s voice is almost unbearable!
I wish the presenter would stop trying so hard to sound like what she’s saying is not scripted when her terrible acting skills prove otherwise. Just freestyle and keep it real. You’re not an actress. When I hear the Abraham Zalunga I fast forward or switch to another podcast. But the content of the show gets 5 stars otherwise.

    Thank you for this podcast!
This podcast is absolutely amazing! It successfully provides a peek into the diversity of the Black experience. Some days I cry while listening, or laugh hysterically, either way, I feel so seen thanks to these stories. Keep em coming! 👏🏾🤎

    Black privilege
Another racist black person. You had me at white. ?Why do they always make it about race? Then cry racism
  • Sevenspine
    Unsubscribed
You can’t fight racism with racism. Uneducated and uninformed. The comments are shocking to me.
  • BlackGirlThatReads
    Super cute
Listened to Carl’s episode first and hit subscribe immediately. So adorable and absolutely love it. Can’t wait to listen to more episodes.
  • gay4pizza420
    Great show!
Love the stories and the format. Only suggestion is to drop the word "unraveled" from the episode descriptions. It's in almost every one and it makes the episodes seem less compelling than they actually are.
  • Ccakes08
    My new fav show
It’s refreshing to hear black stories!
  • asg2013
Listen to an episode before giving a review please
I wish people understood what racism truly is. This is a storytelling podcast I’m confused about why people are upset about the title. I hate it here
  • Maddy Karns
    What about me?🙂
I may be white but my older ancestors fought for your freedom. Why are you blaming us. My great, great, great, great, great, great..... grandpa fought for your freedom. What did he get out of it? Did he get a reward for YOUR freedom. My WHITE family had nothing. They still had to work for their family. They lived with very little. They never had any other people give them money. But they never gave up. But that doesn’t mean that we have to show pitty on them because look at me. I am very blessed and I may be white but I do still face things in life. I do get mistreated by other people. But I look to things that make me happy. This is no hate to black people. I have MANY friends that are black and I don’t pay attention to their skin color. We need more unity in our nation and a podcast like this is making even more division. 🇺🇸🇺🇸⚫️ and ⚪️

    Thank You
I really appreciate this podcast. I didn’t plan on writing a review, but after seeing the hateful comments I felt the need to. This is a storytelling that is missing in the black community.
  • oliviasenor
    Awesome!
It is amazing how many people clearly reviewed this before listening to an episode. This show has something for everyone, and I love it! The stories are wonderful. Definitely one of my favorite podcasts.
  • chrisjonesthegreat
    Hmmm
    Black supremacy at its finest
  • Rusty4545
    Ok
Still love you anyway! You’ll always be in my prayers! You had me at Jesus loves you! Who cares about the color of your skin! Why not promote some unity and quit adding to the division that hateful people have created! You lefty liberal racists are definitely the destruction of this world!

Being black i just love how black this is. I love its blackness. The black blackityness of this podcast is black. Black black black Blackity black blackity black
  • nunyafrickthereisnoway
    This is a thing?
The hypocrisy of this movement amazes me. Don’t judge me for me a skin color. Yet I’ll make everything about skin color. Smh
  • THE ABSENT OF DARK!
    What?!
    Really??????!
  • sportsperson1073
People are more than their skin pigmentation
    This reinforces racism

    Imagine...
A show called you had me at white.
  • Hammer jammer.

    Feels like Grandma’s front porch
Love everything yall are doing and it feels so authentic. On my worst and best days I can find something here to make feel hopefully in living & telling my truth.

    Just discovering in 2021
Sooo glad I came across this. Everyone listens to/reads about Black lives from a macro, systemic standpoint (i.e. police brutality, segregation, wealth gap, etc.) but as an aspiring fiction writer aiming to forefront Black voices, it’s good to just hear regular Black folk of my generation just talk doubt their day-to-day in a real, honest, genuine way. This is gold.

Thank you You Had Me at Black!
You Had Me at Black is so heartfelt and full of life. Truly a hidden gem. So grateful for the artful storytelling and love that’s laid out in every episode. Truly one of the best out there 💜

    This is bad
I wish people would open there eyes
  • Stinamarie84
    Great listen ignore the haters
Wow y’all really put down a one star not based on the content, but because of the title? Racists sure do know how to show themselves easily. We don’t even have to look for you, you just shout as loud as humanly possible. Stay pressed.
  • bbbbbbbbbbb710
    Grateful for this podcast
    Powerful storytelling

I read somewhere that storytelling is the oldest form of teaching. It bonded the early human communities, giving children the answers to the biggest questions of creation, life, and the afterlife. Stories define us, shape us, control us, and make us. Not every human culture in the world is literate, but every single culture tells stories. This podcast is important and appreciated.

    GREAT SHOW!

Great podcast with short anecdotal stories! I can see why you’re onto season #8. Keep up the good work.

    Racist black people
  • 061MNM
    👎🏽
It’s easy to boil everything down to race when you aren’t capable of thinking about anything in a more complex way. People are more than their race. But but but.. RaCiSm right? Racism is only bad if it’s oriented at POC, Anyone else it’s totally okay based on your logic 😊
  • Ace0755
    Love it here!!!
The fact that the 🗣UNSEASONED seem to be so mad about this podcast....I have to listen/support ❤️❤️
  • Lesiure Lotion
    Ok
I wish simply being black wasn’t enough to base a podcast on. People are much more than the race they associate with.
  • Dunning-Kruger
    Garbage
    Racism
  • Genius McThinkaboutit
    Hot garbage
Dumb, petty, racist, whiny complaining about non issues.
  • Earxz
    This is racist
Not sure when it became ok to be blatantly racist against anyone who isn’t “of color”. The only narrative being pushed here is “see color”, that is a racist policy. Something to think about.
  • ToughEnchilada
    Love YHMAB!
    Great storytelling!!
  • Denzell1001
    Great podcast
I love everything about this podcast.
  • CH1378
Liberal for 60 years and life is worse off
Why do rich white children think black people are too dumb to control their own lives? Is the problem with black people or did rich white children learned by their parents to control blacks?
  • Cousin AK
    Black stories come alive
This podcast is super wholesome, real, and alive — I love being connected to my black brothers and sisters from all over. I’m so glad I came across this platform and it is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
