I love the show—great nostalgia and fun content! I just wish they’d keep politics out of a podcast that’s supposed to be about the ‘80s. If I want to hear about politics, I will listen to a podcast that is about politics. Otherwise, keep doing what you do!

I love listening to this podcast. These three hosts are very entertaining and their chemistry is clear. They do a great job of conjuring nostalgia for the greatest decade between the 70’s and the 90’s. Do yourself a favor and tune in!

Listening to Will, Kat and John is like being on a road trip with your three hilarious friends from high school who remember details and things that you forgot, or just didn’t know about. They are the highlight of my commute! The 80s are alive and kicking!

I really would have liked this podcast if it weren’t for Kat. Her fake laugh, her lack of 80’s knowledge, her constant agreement statements (“mm-hmm” “Yeah” “yup”) shows she has no insight of her own. She has seen very few 80’s movies (she has seen Jessica Rabbit). I loved the guys! Very knowledgable, funny and interesting. Deleting this podcast from my list…unfortunately.

The production on 1980s Now is super tight, there's 80's news, trivia and interviews with the folks that made the 80s what they were and best of all the banter between Will, Kat and John is like listening to hillarious synchronized siblings.

They’re always the ones you find yourself talking to your friends about when you’re recounting the best decade!I’ve answered back, nodded in agreement and laughed out loud at my desk more times than I care to admit 😂

I started listening when it was the 80its but I think it got better when Kat joined in and it became 1980s Now. They don’t always say it but they are still proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the 80s was the best decade for everything pop culture.

Straight from the heart, this podcast's got what it takes. BIG UPS, as the man once said, to host WILL and his totally rad hype-person KAT, who’s got Count Floyd-level skills on the horror movie tip. And as for their general 80’s aptitude, these two aren’t just switching the stickers on the Rubik’s Cube to fake it, they’re twisting that sucker FOR REAL. Extra bonus points for the Eddie Van Halen episode. Formally requesting a deep dive on Scritti Politti. The world needs A Little Knowledge on that subject.

Kat always has interesting things to add and has a great radio voice. Without her it would just be two dudes talking. OK Will is smart and Ray is funny, but there’s no way I would ever listen to this show without Kat.

I gave this show a 5-Star rating back when it was The 80its, but it’s gotten even better since then. They still get great guests, they still have a great time talking about the ‘80s, they changed their name (I liked The 80its, but 1980s Now is cool, too), and they added another co-host, Kat, who brings in a fresh perspective. Each of the hosts has their own areas of interests and they show that we can all learn more about the greatest decade for pop culture in history. I can’t wait to see where this show goes from here and I look forward to more exciting perspectives from the hosts and guests.

I have enjoyed this podcast from the beginning, but right now, I’m particularly happy about the addition of Kat a co-host! This is a great podcast that is always entertaining and puts a smile on my face as it conjures up wonderful memories.

So this podcast would be fantastic if it wasn’t for the one girl, Kat. She knows nothing about the 80’s. Especially horror movies which is incredibly frustrating. I know people who don’t like horror but they know the difference between Chucky and Annabelle. I mean my god!!!! Really? You gotta get rid of her. It’s impossible to listen to this. As a female fan of horror myself I’ve very let down by this. What a shame. Please consider switching hosts.

I’ve been listening to The 80its for about a month or so (first listened to the 80’s cartoon episode with Jon from Gen X Grown Up) and I’ve really been enjoying the show. The recent interview with Chris Butler about 1980’s music is definitely a favorite.

Will & Ray are easy on the ear with their humorous banter and insightful comments, and approach their craft with the same care & creativity that shines through like a really good mixed tape from a friend. My appreciation might be accentuated by my being a child of the 80’s, but because the 80’s WAS so influential, it’s no doubt accessible to all. I’m generally not into podcasts, but I’m addicted to the 80its!

Will and Ray are awesome! Their podcast is entertaining and fun. I can’t recall listening to an episode where I didn’t laugh out loud at least once. Thanks to these guys for their objective defense of our favorite decade.

If you grew up in the 80s, or even just really think the 80s was a pretty cool decade, this podcast is funny and informative. Awesome guests from the 80s, trivia, experts, etc all in an attempt to prove once and for all, the 80s was the best decade ever.

Will and Ray provide an entertaining look at many things that made our childhoods great, all wrapped in a professional production featuring the occasional Special Guest. Highly recommended for any lover of the ‘80s!
